TRV762 : Sustainable and Resilient Hill-Road Infrastructure
[edit]The goal of this class is to look at large-scale infrastructure that fosters long-term environmental sustainability and anticipates extreme climate events brought on by our changing climate. We will examine methods, materials, processes, technologies, practices, and operations which play a part in making infrastructure sustainable and resilient. We will attempt to keep hill roads at the center of our attention. We will also discuss related issues of energy, water, transportation, communication, natural resources and ecology.
