HSL683 : Feminist Thought
[edit]This course will examine the theoretical underpinnings, current controversies, and new lines of feminist thought, as well as how these ideas affect various feminisms, research, and epistemology. The course will cover the following topics: sex/gender system, sexualities and identities, feminist epistemologies, intersectionality, standpoint theory, feminist science, embodiment, medicalisation and the domains of sexual and reproductive rights.
