HSL583 : Introduction to Research Methods
[edit]Students will be introduced to a range of theoretical and Courses of Study 2024-2025 Humanities and Social Sciences 220methodological perspectives in research. The topics of study include understanding the need for research in social sciences, framing research design, objectivity in social sciences, qualitative research methods and quantitative research methods. The course content also includes short practical exercises on aspects related to methodology and research design.
