ESp300 : Energy Innovation Laboratory

Students will be doing innovative projects relevant to energy engineering based on their interest. Based on the Student interest, they will be assigned to perform energy related design projects/ experiments. ESQ311 Battery Storage This seminar course comprises the information related to various batteries and their applications, · including electric vehicles, grid storage, consumer applications, defence applications, etc. Importance of batteries to effectively harness renewable and non-energy. Batteries and their performance matrix, thermal impact on different types of batteries, importance of self-discharge in stationary storage batteries, high-energy and high-power batteries. The next generation Pb-acid batteries, advanced Li-ion batteries, alkali-metal batteries, alkali-earth-metal batteries. ZERO-emission batteries, sea-water batteries, dual-ion batteries, dual-graphite batteries, thin-film/solid- state batteries.
