Transportation

IIT Delhi is located in Hauz Khas, South Delhi, and is well connected by metro, bus, and road. The campus has its own dedicated metro station on the Delhi Metro Magenta Line.

Getting to Campus

Metro

IIT Delhi Metro Station is on the Magenta Line (Line 8) of the Delhi Metro. It is located at the main gate of the campus on Sri Aurobindo Marg.

Connections:

  • Hauz Khas (Yellow Line interchange) — 1 station away
  • Janakpuri West (Blue Line interchange) — via Magenta Line
  • Botanical Garden (Noida, Blue Line interchange) — via Magenta Line
  • New Delhi / Rajiv Chowk — Yellow Line via Hauz Khas

The metro is the most convenient way to reach campus from most parts of Delhi-NCR.
