Schools

IIT Delhi has six interdisciplinary schools that complement its 16 departments and 11 centres. Schools operate across traditional departmental boundaries and offer specialised postgraduate and doctoral programmes.

Yardi School of Artificial Intelligence (ScAI)

Established in 2020, the Yardi School of Artificial Intelligence (ScAI) is IIT Delhi's newest school. It offers M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes in AI and has over 40 affiliated faculty members drawn from departments across the institute. ScAI conducts research in core AI areas including natural language processing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and AI for healthcare.

Bharti School of Telecommunication

Named after Sunil Bharti Mittal (founder of Airtel), the Bharti School offers M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes in telecommunication technology and management. It bridges the gap between engineering and management aspects of the telecom industry.

School of Public Policy

The School of Public Policy (SPP) offers a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) programme, preparing graduates for leadership roles in government, regulatory bodies, think tanks, and international organisations. The curriculum integrates technology, economics, and governance.
