Course Contents: Classification of EV motors, sizing procedures, winding design and analysis, materials in Ev motors, design techniques of different topologies of PM motors, synchronous reluctance and: switched reluctance motors, performance analysis and parameter computation, analysis of cogging torque and torque ripple and their mitigation techniques, loss modelling and thermal analysis.
