MSL304 : Managing Operations
[edit]The objective of the course is to provide the students about the application of Industrial management in various functional areas of business especially industrial operations such as linear programing, assignment and transportation problem, layout/location design, quality, materials management, Preventive maintenance, project management, supply chain management, scheduling/sequencing, ergonomics, operations strategy. The entire course is a case based where the participants will be given a case. Participants will be asked to tackle the case problem without using linear programming techniques.
