HSL551 : philosophical Thinking

The course will cover definitions of philosophical thinking and practices associated with these models – engagement with texts and interpretation; contemplation; argumentation; logic, dialogue; computation; and expose students to problems such as the relation between thinking, mind, consciousness, and body; the material conditions of thinking as a social and political act; thinking, expression and communication; rules of thought; the grounds of differentiating forms of thought (philosophical, theological, literary, scientific) etc.
