APL747 : Uncertainty Quantification and Propagation

Need for UQ in computational mechanics, types of uncertainty and errors, review of fundamentals of probability, random processes and statistics, representation of random inputs, frequentist and Bayesian parameter identification techniques, uncertainty propagation in model- form uncertainty, surrogate models for uncertainty quantification and propagation, sensitivity analysis.
