Batteries and their performance matrix, thermal impact on different types of batteries, importance of self-discharge in stationary storage batteries, high-energy and high-power batteries. The next generation Pb-acid batteries, advanced Li-ion batteries, alkali-metal batteries, alkali-earth-metal batteries.
